Macrame creations is a new distractor in my quiver. Spending most of my time in my creative space escaping from the neuropathic nightmare symptoms CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) and Small Fiber Neuropathy cause.
In all the tools I use to deal with the constant symptoms of vibrations, fire ants, bared wire and broken glass, distraction has become one of the best for me. I find if my hands are busy on a task it takes up space in my brain. Busy counting knots or deciding on a color pallet is a place where pain becomes creative.
It’s an escape to create beauty while escaping the pain. “Pain” a word that never feels adequate to describe the pure torture that is the “Suicide Disease,” CRPS.
I love sharing pieces of me, here are a few.
