Infusion number 9 of 10 for the loading dose treatment of complex regional pain syndrome also known as reflex sympathetic dystrophy and post-mastectomy pain syndrome. loading doses consists of 10 infusions that take place over a course of two weeks. Over the first few days the dose is slowly raised then there will be two days of rest and an additional 5 days of infusions with adjustments as needed. This is not a cure but it is a way to help decrease the pain and spreading of complex regional pain syndrome and in my case type 2 the rarest of forms. Please feel free to ask questions below I will be continuing to blog as I have booster infusions and as treatment progresses with hope that someday we find a cure.
