UnitedHealthcare Bragged about $8.1 B in profit in 3 mos. made from people who pay them for health coverage. Their money model relies on denying people care. People just like Me. Join us to demand that United Health Group to
\ntake a break from sipping champagne and bragging about their profits and cover Jenn’s care. For the record, according to The New York Times, this company has been accused by whistleblowers and the government of:<\/p>\n

Fraud
\nOver-billing<\/p>\n

These “Advantage” plans let private companies rip off patients using the trusted Medicare brand. It’s disgusting.<\/p>\n

Jenn spent 20 yrs providing emergency medical assistance to others\u2013& she pays for coverage through a so-called Medicare “advantage” plan from United, which lets private corporations benefit from Medicare’s brand while ripping off customers.<\/p>\n

Jenn first got cancer when she was 30, and again at 42, and had to undergo a mastectomy\/reconstruction. As a result of her cancer treatments, she suffers from complex regional pain syndrome, which hospitalizes her for weeks in intense pain. Everyone should have health care when they need it\u2013and it’s outrageous that someone who spent decades providing health care for others would be denied care when *they* need it\u2013but United Health Group and the companies it owns care more for their profits than our suffering.<\/p>\n

The condition Jenn has, CRPS, is horrific, painful, and has well-known treatments to help patients manage the pain. But United Health Group and United Healthcare get between Jenn and her doctors and stop her from getting her care.<\/p>\n
